LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT (LCA) PRODUKSI BATU BARA DI PT. XYZ DI KALIMANTAN SELATAN DENGAN PENDEKATAN CRADLE-TO-GATE MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE OPENLCA

ABSTRAKBatubara merupakan salah satu sumber daya energi yang dapat diandalkan sekaligus memainkan peran penting dalam kebutuhan dunia. batubara diproyeksikan akan tetap memenuhi sekitar 23% dari dunia sampai tahun 2035. Dibalik banyaknya keunggulan adanya batu bara, ada juga dampak negatif dibalik industri pertambangan satunya emisi dikeluarkan oleh mesin digunakan pada saat proses produksi bara. Seluruh kegiatan menggunakan bahan bakar fosil sebagai penggerak dimana tahapan awal dimulai pembersihan lahan hingga tahap pendistribusian Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai gas rumah kaca (CO2, CH4, dan N2O) asidifikasi (SO2) land clearing coal barging serta kontribusi lingkungan berupa GWP100 acidification potential 1ton bara dengan pendekatan life cycle assessment software OpenLCA di PT. XYZ berdasarkan data 2020. Hasil penelitian didapatkan Gas Rumah Kaca GRK 2020 sebesar 49.232,81 Ton CO2, 2,44 12,79 N2O, 62,66 SO2. Untuk menghasilkan 24,11 kg CO2 eq 0,036 SO2 eq. Tahapan overburden removal paling tinggi diantara lainnya karena alat berat banyak sehingga lebih juga.
